Our Wedding Day...
Justin & I searched everywhere for the perfect place for a small wedding.
We finally found a place in St. Augustine, Florida.  What a better place to
start our life together.  Famous as "the Nation's oldest city", it is full of
history and charm.  A quaint city on the bay in Northeast Florida.  On one of
our first trips to St. Augustine we had seen a couple getting married in a
gazebo in a city park.  It seemed perfect.  Only the 2 of them and the
minister that married them & a few attendees, a violinist & a crowd of
onlookers.  The city itself has so much information on locations, caterers,
and florists that they provide you.  We were married on a bridge in the
courtyard of the Lightner Museum.  We held our reception at
The Old City
House Inn Bed & Breakfast which is located directly across the street.  It is
owned by James & Ilse Philcox.  It was the most perfect place for our
reception.  We had a small wedding, only 30-40 people in attendance.  The
Inn was the perfect size, not too big & not too small.  The food was
wonderful...to this day my brother-in-law talks about the food at the
reception.  Hopefully if you are in the area of St. Augustine you will have the
chance to stop by Old City House & have a bite to eat...it is well worth the
trip.
Amber Sinclair stood up for me as
my Maid of Honor.  We met at
Soileau Accounting Management,
Inc.  We instantly became friends &
have been friends ever since.
This is a picture we were posing for
by a fountain.  I can't seem to find
the picture that was taken in
sequence after it.  I was leaning so
far back on Justin & my heel on my
shoe slipped...as you can imagine I
almost fell...Thank God he was
paying attention & didn't drop me!
Our photography was done by
Marvin Mann.
Justin lived with Jennifer & Jimmy Green
(Jr.) when we met.  Susan and Kim, Jimmy's
mother and sister, were gracious enough to
drive all the way from Lake City to St.
Augustine to deliver our wedding cake and
set up the table.  Unfortunately they had a
prior engagement & were unable to stay for
our wedding & reception.  It looks too
beautiful to eat...but it was well worth
cutting into!
Some of the guests at our
wedding.  Not sure if this
was before or after we
arrived.  We took at least
an hour's worth of pictures
after the wedding before
arriving at the reception.
